Who we are

Rapid Marketers is run by Paul Murphy, a sole trader based in Scotland. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers rapidmarketers.com, enquiries, call bookings and email subscriptions. Contact us at support@rapidmarketers.com.

What we collect

We collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, booking information and messages.

We also collect information about website visits and email engagement, including IP addresses, device information, pages visited, email opens and link clicks, depending on the technologies enabled and your consent choices.

Providing information is optional, but we need an email address to send your requested emails and enough information to respond to enquiries or arrange calls.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to messages and arrange calls, based on our legitimate interests in running the business or taking steps you request before entering a contract.

  • Send the email series, marketing tips and offers you consent to receive.

  • Understand engagement and tailor follow-up emails. For example, clicking a link may add an interest tag in Kit or trigger a relevant promotional sequence. We obtain consent where required for tracking and personalisation.

  • Measure website use and advertising performance, with consent for optional analytics and advertising tracking.

  • Keep our systems secure and handle disputes, based on our legitimate interests in protecting the business.

  • Meet legal obligations where these apply.

Our email interest tags personalise communications. They do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Your email choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails or by contacting us.

You can object to direct marketing, including related profiling, at any time. You can also contact us to withdraw consent to email tracking. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful beforehand.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics and advertising. These include Google Analytics, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel.

Optional analytics and advertising tracking require your consent under our approach. Marketing-email consent is separate from consent to website tracking.

Advertising platforms may combine information about your visits with information they hold about you to measure or personalise advertising. Their own privacy policies also apply to their use of that information.

You can use your browser settings to manage stored cookies. Deleting cookies does not itself withdraw an earlier consent or prevent new cookies being set. Contact us if you need help with your privacy choices.

Who handles your information

We use providers for website hosting, email delivery, forms, bookings, analytics and advertising. These currently include Framer, Kit, ConvertBox, Calendly, Google Analytics, LinkedIn and Meta. We also use communications and IT providers to handle messages and operate our systems.

We may share information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for advice, legal obligations or legal claims.

Some providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. International transfers require an applicable UK adequacy arrangement or appropriate safeguards, such as approved contractual terms with the UK Addendum. Contact us for details of the arrangements relevant to your information or a copy of applicable safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep information according to its purpose, whether your enquiry or booking is complete, your subscription status, any continuing relationship and applicable legal requirements or disputes.

We review whether information is still needed and delete or anonymise it when it is not. We may retain a minimal unsubscribe record to respect your marketing preferences. Retention of website and email engagement data also depends on the relevant provider settings and our need for the information.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, object to processing or receive certain information in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise your rights or raise a concern, email support@rapidmarketers.com. You can also complain to the UK data protection regulator, the ICO, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Updates

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and bring significant changes to your attention where required.
