Warning:
Do N̲O̲T̲ read this unless you’re frustrated as hell with all the email marketing out there that feels icky, pushy and makes you despise email.
If you’re fed up with ‘experts’ telling you to use strategies you KNOW don’t align with you or your audience…
…Then I think this page is worth a few minutes of your time.
Because even if something ‘works’…
Do you really want to feel spammy? Use tactics you don’t like? Send emails you’d never open yourself?
Not me. And probably not you either.
What happens to everyone who doesn’t buy in the first five days?
It drives me absolutely bananas when I opt in for something and get dropped into a sequence that starts with:
“I’m here to help you and provide value.”
Lovely. Sounds promising.
But then every email seems to have exactly the same job:
Get me on a call. Get me to buy. Get me to buy before midnight because something apparently terrible happens to the price at 12:01.
And listen, I get it.
Bring enough people into the top of a funnel, keep asking them to buy, and some of them will.
But there’s a question most people seem to completely ignore.
What happens to everyone else?
The person who likes what you do, but needs to understand it better.
The person who could be a brilliant client, but has something else on their plate this month.
The person who’s interested, but isn’t ready to trust someone they discovered three days ago with £5k..
Do they get something useful? A reason to keep reading? A chance to get to know you?
Or do they get another pitch… followed by another pitch… followed by silence when they don’t buy?
🎉 Oh Yes! BRILLIANT 🎉
You’ve spent all that effort getting someone into your world, and now you’ve given them a reason to leave.
Or worse, stay subscribed and ignore you.
THAT’S what so many people ignore.
Your email system needs to look after the people who are ready now AND the people who could become clients later.
Otherwise, you’re starting from scratch far more often than you need to.
The business I want to run
Now listen - I’m not sitting here pretending I have all the answers.
If I did, I’d be retired at 29, living in Fiji and sipping cocktails on the beach all day.
But I do have a business I’m proud of.
I bring people into my world through email. I take them on a journey and I have people who stay subscribed for years.
More importantly, I have a consistent flow of happy customers and clients without needing to use the cringy, pushy tactics so many experts bang on about.
That matters to me.
I want to send an email and feel good about the person receiving it. I want someone to find my work useful before they’ve paid me a penny.
And when I invite them to work with me, I want the invitation to make sense.
They understand what I do. They understand how I can help. And they’ve had a chance to decide whether they like the way I think.
The principle behind it is simple:
Treat people like customers before they become customers.
Give them something worth reading, help them understand the problem they’re trying to solve and show them how you approach it.
Then give them a clear next step when they’re interested in going further.
You can absolutely sell. You can make direct offers. You can explain why someone should act now when there’s a real reason to. And you can do all of that while looking after the relationship.
I call it Emailtopia.
Here’s what that looks like in your business:
EMAILTOPIA WALKTHROUGH
Your video will appear here
Now - all of the Emailtopia elements you see in that video? There are three ways you can build that for yourself.
You can join my self-paced program
You can join my 1:1 Emailtopia 12-Week Sprint
You can hire me to do it all for you
No matter which route you decide to take, you will end up with the exact same outcome:
A damn brilliant email ecosystem that allows you to create more happy customers and clients for your business… in a way that feels great for you and your audience.
All you have to do is schedule a quick call below, and I will give you all the details you need to make an informed decision for yourself. And it gives me a chance to make sure you’re a good fit for Emailtopia.
(With the Emailtopia Ecosystem, you’ll learn how to attract the right people into your business. I do it for my business too. If I don’t think you’re a good fit for how I work, I’ll let you know. I will not, under any circumstances, just let anybody join because I want the extra revenue. I have designed my business so I work with people I like. I take that very seriously.)
If you schedule a call and decide to no-show without giving me a heads-up, you will be blocked and unable to schedule a call with me ever again. I value your time. I expect you to value my time too.
A few questions you might have
Who is Emailtopia for?
It’s for coaches, service providers and creators who want email to build real relationships as well as bring in business. If you want a system that sounds like you rather than a script you have to force, we’ll have plenty to talk about.
What will we actually build?
We’ll look at how people join your list, what they receive next and how your emails lead naturally towards your offers. The exact plan depends on your business and where you’re starting.
What happens on the call?
We’ll talk about your business, what isn’t working with email right now and what a better approach could look like. I’ll explain how I work, and we can both decide whether there’s a good fit—no pressure either way.
